Lou and Ben got married at Pynes House in Exeter. What a stunning location! The elegant, private estate was the perfect choice for this sophisticated couple.
I’d say about 40% of brides bring their groom along to their consultations with me and it makes sense to bring your sister/mum/best mate instead if your fiancé isn’t too focused on the flowers (that’s totally fair enough – my husband was more than happy to leave all things floral to me when planning our wedding!) but I have to say I love it when they do come along as it means I get to meet the couple as a whole unit. I truly believe your wedding flowers should reflect the people you are and if I get to meet the groom too, it gives me even more insight into who you are.
Their beautiful colour palette of ivory, blush pink and pale peach was complemented by silvery green eucalyptus, fresh green honeysuckle and trailing burgundy clematis – scrummy! Throw in some exquisite peonies, blousy roses and delicate astrantia and I’m in my element!
