Colourful, summery, country (yet sophisticated) and fun – this was such a fabulous wedding to be involved in – it ticked so many boxes!
Bright coral peonies, cobalt blue cornflowers, delicate lilac scabious and sunny yellow roses to name just a few of the blooms we filled the workshop with. One by one my trusted team of helpers and I popped them into bottles, bound them into beautiful unstructured, natural bouquets, created a romantic and eye-catching heart wreath and displayed them in apple crates and chimney pots. A vibrant rainbow of summery gorgeousness!
Helen and Sheppy had a clear vision of how they wanted their big day to look and it was inspired by the beautiful meadow where they put up a big marquee and partied til the wee small hours.
One of my favourite bits of working on weddings is seeing it all come together when we set up the flowers at the venue. And this one was a corker! It was a real treat to see all those stunning lanterns and how they perfectly complemented the flowers and rounded off the whole look.
Helen Lisk really captured the romance and tenderness of this beautiful wedding, as well as the fun filled atmosphere in these photos. Enjoy!
